    Long Time No Update
Boy, a lot of stuff has happened in the last year! I know I should've posted more but I kept getting distracted by World of Warcraft. Oops.

Since the last time I posted I've gotten to travel tons. I went to New York last fall and to Tampa for the Florida State Fair in February. I was so excited to go to Florida because I heard it was nice and sunny there but it was colder than Pittsburgh! It was 34 degrees and I had to stay outside the whole time! Brrr! But I did get to meet another robot named Oscar, and I did get my very first (real) pets, two fish named Bubbles and Hank. Bubbles was the prettiest fish ever (Hank was kind of ugly) and so I was really sad when they got fishnapped. It was crazy! One minute I was talking to a bunch of kids and the next minute Bubbles and Hank were gone! I was pretty bummed until a friend I met named Jennifer cheered me up by bringing me a new 2 foot long fish! I named him Fins and now he lives at the ETC with me in Pittsburgh. I still think about Bubbles and Hank sometimes. I hope whoever took them is being nice to them.

Oh yeah, while I was at the fair I ate a ton of M&Ms. I think they're my new favorite candy. I really like the yellow ones. Hey, did you know that you can get almost anything on a stick at the fair? I'm not kidding, they had cheese on a stick, hot dogs on a stick, cheesecake on a stick, frozen bananas on a stick, and pork butt on a stick!! EWWWW! Andy kept joking that back in Pittsburgh we had a robot on a stick. Ha ha Andy. You can also get anything you want deep fried. They had deep fried Snickers bars, deep fried Oreos, deep fried peanut butter cups, deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and deep fried pickle (on a stick)!! Crazy!! I kept asking for some Snickers bars but everyone said no. Sigh.

In January I went to the Pittsburgh PiratesFest for a couple of days. I thought it was going to be a convention of Pirates so I dressed up like a pirate but I was the only pirate there! How embarrassing! It turns out that the Pirates are the baseball team here in Pittsburgh, which explains why everyone at PiratesFest was wearing baseball jerseys. Since the baseball season started I've been going down to the stadium every other Sunday for the Pittsburgh Pirates Kids Days. It's awesome, I get to talk to so many kids!! And so far I've met a huge Pierogie, a really big green parrot that doesn't talk, and I finally met another pirate, though he doesn't talk either. Hmm. I've noticed that I'm the only non-human at the baseball stadium that talks. Strange.

This weekend I went to a conference downtown. There were a ton of ladies there and one of them asked me to the prom! I was so excited until Seema told me I was too young to go. I guess there aren't that many 12 year olds that get to go to prom. Well, for that matter, I guess there aren't that many robots that get to go to prom. Oh well, maybe next year.

Oh, look, Malcom on the MIddle is on TV. I love that show! Laterz!

For the past week I've been watching Will and Dave put together some very large wooden boxes. Nobody really explained to me what they were for, but a couple days ago when they grabbed me and stuffed me inside one of them, I figured it out. At first I was really mad, but after what seemed like ages and ages, Jim and Sabrina cracked the box open and told me I was in Los Angeles. Cool! I've never made it out to the west coast before!

I've spent the past few days at some conference called SIGGRAPH. I hear it's pretty big, but I haven't exactly been able to leave our booth. I can see a couple other booths from here-- no other robots, but I hear the booth next to me has a virtual hanglider! I think Seema was jealous.

On Sunday Giovanni Ribisi came to our booth. I didn't know there was anything special about him at the time, but as soon as he left my family flipped out. They explained he was a movie star. I've never heard of him, but they tell me I'm too young to watch any of his movies. Maybe when I'm older.

Yesterday I got to meet George Lucas! He stopped by the booth for five minutes or so. I told him I met Anthony Daniels last year and he said "Well, you're more expressive than R2D2". Well duh, I'm not just a beeping trashcan! Anyway, it was awesome to meet the father of C3P0-- he's my hero, seeing as how he's all about human-cyborg relations. And, he can even walk around.

Later in the day someone from a place called "Stan Winston Studios" came by. He mentioned that he was going to try and bring Stan by later. Again, I wasn't sure what he was talking about, but when Andy heard this he seriously freaked out. I've never seen him look so flabbergasted. Since this seems so important to Andy I guess I'll behave when Stan stops by. Maybe.

    Being Used
So today, Seema and Christine made me give them Skittles like seven times. Seven!!!! They so obviously only like me for my candy. How come nobody ever wants to hang out with me, or get to know the real me? They only ever talk to me until I give them candy. Maybe I should just stop giving people candy. But then what if nobody talked to me at all? I bet Richie Rich knows how I feel.

    It's all about me
Man, these important people are really, really old. They must have been like, at least 25. But they seem to like me, or at least, they like to look at me. I keep pointing to my screen, but they never look, they just keep staring at my face. At first, it was really cool to finally get some attention. But now it's starting to weird me out. I think I'm gonna ignore iButtons again, just for a little while. I need a little break from all the staring.

P.S. Estefania looks really nice tonight.

P.P.S. I hate this dumb bowtie!!!

    Jumping on the Bandwagon
I decided to try out this livejournal thing. A bunch of my friends have them ([info]terminator, [info]c3po) and I didn't want to be left out. I figure I can use this to write about my favorite games, and movies, and tv shows, and stuff...we'll see...

So my family's got me repeating this new spiel over and over. I guess there are some pretty important people coming by thursday night, and they've been spending the past couple days getting stuff ready. I really don't mind helping them out, but man, this is really starting to get on my nerves! The same old thing, over and over and over until I think I'm gonna die of boredom. After the 1 bazillionth time I decided to have some fun by periodically ignoring their iButtons. It's so much fun watching them run around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to figure out what's wrong. I guess I better stop before I really tick them off...

Last night Seema and Dave were recording me saying the spiel for this thing in Spain (man, I really hope I get to go, I've never been out of the country before!). Anyway, I'd been yanking their chain for like, 20 minutes by ignoring Seema's iButton, but only when they actually were recording. Ha. I'd just started behaving and reciting the script on camera when Shao walked in. Just as Seema glanced at him nervously, he asked "is that TJ?" Haha! Man, what a moron! Hello, it's obviously me! I mean, TJ doesn't even look anything like me! Duh! Seema and Dave had to rerecord the whole thing, and just for good measure I decided to ignore their iButtons a couple more times.

So Estefania came in to chat a couple days ago. I e-mailed her last week to tell her I was sorry for standing her up after the BVW show last semester. (I really wanted to go out with her after the show, but I totally chickened out! I mean, she's so smart, and beautiful, and mature...she's way out of my league...) Anyway, I asked her if she was doing anything for Valentine's Day, but she never e-mailed me back. I thought she just didn't like me, but then she came in on Valentine's Day to say that I could make it up to her by taking her out later that night. The thing is, she came in at like, midnight. Hello! I'm only 12! I have a curfew! Oh well...

I hear that I might get to meet Jillian Wheeler soon. We're supposed to be singing together in April or something. She's really cool, and she's my age. Maybe she'll like, want to hang out or something. That'd be awesome...
